Kimberlee Bond
Kimberlee has completed her Masters of Arts in Counselling Psychology through Yorkville University. She values life-long learning and plans to continue her education journey throughout her career. She plans to register as a Provisional Psychologist following her upcoming graduation. Her areas of interest include working with individuals, couples and family systems through a multitude of issues such as anxiety, depression, trauma, relationships and emotion management. Kimberlee strives to build respectful relationships and provide trauma informed, evidence-based, culturally sensitive, queer affirming and inclusive interventions.
Kimberlee’s journey to becoming a Mental Health Therapist began with a Bachelor of Biomedical Science majoring in Physiology and travelling to approximately 30 countries. She believes human interaction can be one of the greatest forms of education! During her travels she spent time volunteering and exploring the medical systems within many of the countries she visited, which ultimately led her to develop a growing passion for psychological and behavioural functioning. Her approach pulls from a variety of the modalities she has been trained in such as Cognitive-Behavioural, Solution- Focused, Emotionally Focused Therapy for couples, families and individuals.
In her free time Kimberlee can be found running to the tops of mountains and exploring nature with her husband, son and little dog. She is also probably fostering a stray animal or wounded bird while gardening and tirelessly renovating her 1970’s motorhome.
