Katelyn Fleming, M.A.

Registered Psychologist

Katelyn Fleming is a Registered Psychologist with the College of Alberta Psychologist. She completed her Master of Counseling and is member of the Psychologist Association of Alberta and the Canadian Psychological Association.
Katelyn has worked with at risk youth and families for the past ten years in a variety of settings. This has helped inform her transition into psychology and her role as a counsellor. She is compassionate, genuine, non-judgmental and LGBTQ2S+ welcoming!

Katelyn enjoys working with individuals who have experienced trauma and PTSD, anxiety, depression, and is especially interested in working with adults and adolescents.

Katelyn’s theoretical approach is influenced by person-centered therapy, solution-focused therapy, cognitive behavior therapy, mindfulness self-compassion, and somatic experiencing. Katelyn is trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), EMDR advanced training for personality disorders, Gottman Level 1 (couples counselling), and Short-Term Dynamic Therapy. Katelyn believes that change is possible and strives to work with people to find what works best for them to uncover their best self and optimize the life they are living.

Katelyn enjoys spending time with family and friends, being outside and warm weather.
